We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:
• Connecting passengers with drivers to facilitate efficient movement within cities
• Displaying passenger geolocation data and phone numbers to drivers to ensure seamless pick-up. Please note that geolocation data is only collected when the RoiTaxi app is activated and stops once the app is closed. In certain countries, drivers may see a different temporary number that diverts to the passenger's phone number to enable communication.
• Utilizing geolocation data to address quality issues related to our transportation services
• Using contact details to notify passengers of updates to the RoiTaxi app
• Analyzing driver and passenger routes to provide recommendations for the most efficient routes
• Utilizing your name, phone number, and email for communication purposes
• Obtaining payment details to process payments on behalf of drivers for transportation services
• Collecting customer support data on a case-by-case basis to resolve disputes and enhance service quality
We process personal data to fulfill the service agreement with our passengers. By installing and using the RoiTaxi app, passengers agree to the processing of their identification and geolocation data. Additionally, personal data may be processed based on legitimate interests, such as investigating and detecting fraudulent payments.
Passenger personal data is only disclosed to the driver who has activated the RoiTaxi app. In such cases, the driver will have access to the passenger's name, phone number (masked in some countries), and geolocation data. After providing the transportation service, the passenger's name and phone number (masked in some countries) will remain visible to the driver for 24 hours to enable resolution of any service-related issues, such as contacting the passenger regarding items left behind. Feedback provided by passengers regarding service quality is anonymous, and drivers do not receive names or phone numbers of those who provided ratings and feedback.
All personal data collected during service provision is transferred to and stored in Vasonomics' secure data centers. Only authorized employees have access to personal data, and they can access it solely for the purpose of resolving issues associated with service usage and resolving disputes regarding transportation services. Geolocation data is processed in an anonymized form and personalized only if necessary to resolve disputes or fraud. For research and scientific purposes, the data is used in an unidentified and anonymized form.
You can easily access and update your personal data through the RoiTaxi app.
Please note that if you request to delete your personal data, it can only be done by deleting your account. Deleting your account will render the RoiTaxi app inaccessible. We aim to respond to any deletion requests submitted via email within one month and will provide information on the data deletion timeframe.
Upon receiving a request for personal data transfer submitted via email, we will respond within one month, specifying the date of the data transfer. Once we verify your identity as a customer, we will provide you with your personal data, including contact information, the last three years' journey history, and payment information.
We will only use your email address and/or phone number to send direct marketing messages if you have provided us with permission to do so through the Roitaxi.com website or the RoiTaxi app. These direct marketing messages may be personalized based on your usage of RoiTaxi services, including frequency of use, journeys taken, and payments made.
